Amir Pourmina joined Avison Young in 2021 as a Financial Analyst. He is an experienced commercial real estate investment analyst with an academic background in finance. Prior to joining Avison Young, Amir gained diverse industry experience in commercial real estate investment, development, and mortgage finance. He has personally underwritten and managed transactions involving investment and development assets and portfolios across multi-family, mixed-use, and industrial asset classes, and throughout major Canadian markets. Through his professional and academic experiences, Amir has obtained a well-rounded understanding of capital market dynamics, real estate capital structures, asset valuation approaches, and various transaction structures. Amir graduated from The University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a CFA charterholder.
