As Regional Director, Brenda Dougherty is responsible for providing oversight of client service delivery and staff leadership for Avison Young’s Real Estate Management Services across Texas. With over 25+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Brenda has successfully overseen multiple properties, operational programs, and special projects, while consistently delivering results that exceed her clients’ expectations.

Throughout her career, Brenda has managed numerous assignments for large institutional investment groups, regional investment fund groups and individual owners. Her assignments have included high-rise class A office buildings, suburban office buildings, and large retail portfolios. Brenda’s construction management experience includes all levels of tenant improvement, building improvement, and restoration projects, as well as a conversion of a large single tenant office building to multi-tenant occupancy. 

Currently, Brenda’s management oversight includes regional office, retail, and industrial properties in Houston, Austin, and Dallas totaling approximately 5.7 million square feet.
A results and detail-oriented professional, Brenda provides staff leadership to foster a cohesive team approach to management. She has achieved recognition for achieving the “Highest Ratings” in the Houston area on tenant satisfaction surveys.
