Brian is Principal of the Place Practice at Avison Young. He is an experienced urban planning professional who has worked throughout Ireland for over 20 years. Brian joined Avison Young in September 2023 from Turley where he was Head of Planning in Ireland. He is a chartered member of the Irish Planning Institute and the Royal Town Planning Institute.

He has a comprehensive understanding of Placemaking, specialising in urban regeneration and new neighbourhood projects. His diverse sectoral experience includes delivery of: residential-led mixed use developments; schools and colleges; healthcare; culture and tourism; hotels; office schemes; energy and infrastructure; and town and city regeneration projects for local authorities.

Brian emphasises the importance of adopting an integrated multidisciplinary approach to placemaking and project delivery, to secure the best outcomes for clients and for the places we create.
