Brooks Hauf is a Senior Director in Avison Young’s New York City office located in Midtown Manhattan.

With nearly a decade of experience, Brooks specializes in tenant representation and strategic planning with a primary focus on technology, financial and non-profit companies. Brooks also specializes in landlord representation and has led agency teams in representing over 2.5 million RSF. His ability to see both sides of transactions gives him a unique perspective in fair market value dynamics.

In 2019, he was recognized as a Rising Star by Real Estate Weekly after having completed over four million square feet of transactions during his short career. In 2015, Brooks was recognized by the Commercial Observer as “30 Under 30” as one of the Top 30 Commercial Real Estate Professionals in the Tri-State region. He was also nominated for the Real Estate Board of New York’s “Most Promising Salesperson of the Year.”

Prior to joining Avison Young, Brooks served as a Director on the top producing brokerage team globally at Cushman & Wakefield. In addition, he was the President of the Tri-State region for Cushman & Wakefield’s Future Leaders program, where he coordinated continuing education opportunities, charity events, networking opportunities and community service projects for several hundred Cushman & Wakefield employees. Brooks is a member of the Junior Board of the Glenn Markman Foundation where he runs donations for the charitable organization and co-runs the annual Glenn Markman Invitational Basketball Tournament.
