Catherine is a Divisional Director of Avison Young and has worked in the industry for over a decade. She is principally involved in Landlord and Tenant instructions, valuations and strategic consultancy with our Valuation Advisory team.

Catherine has extensive experience in providing high quality Red Book compliant valuation reports for a variety of assets from single properties to large portfolios covering all sectors of the market including investments, offices, development land, retail, residential and industrial for formal lending, accounting and company restructuring.

Catherine is a highly experienced negotiator in rent reviews and lease negotiations and acts as an expert witness at Arbitration and Court Hearings. She particularly specialises in office and retail rent reviews and has been involved in a significant number of high-profile cases. She utilises her expert knowledge and awareness of Landlord and Tenant legislation and case law in order to obtain the best possible results for clients.

During her secondment to a semi-state organisation she was solely responsible for the project management of securing their accommodation, preparing board papers and budgets, managing commercial rates issues, dealing with various stakeholders, as well as the day to day property management ensuring compliance with lease obligations and pertinent lease dates including break dates and lease surrenders.

Catherine holds a First Class Honours Degree in Property Studies, she is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, is a RICS Registered Valuer and holds a Property Services Regulatory Authority licence. She is proficient in using - Argus Developer, Argus Enterprise and KelSigma. She is an ambassador for our firm at college recruitment fairs, oversees and manages the recruitment of graduates and provides induction training and mentoring. She is also a member of the Social Committee and organises team building events.
