Craig is a Chartered Town Planner and Head of our Planning, Development and Regeneration Team in the Midlands. He began his career in local government with Stoke on Trent City Council before joining GVA Grimley, as we were then, in 1999. Craig has a team of 21 planning and support staff, one of the largest in the Midlands, and works closely with other experts across the business to deliver fully combined consultancy and transactional services through the development cycle.

The majority of the advice that he provides is geared to helping his Clients navigate the planning system in a manner which maximises the value of their property assets, either by shaping the development plan for an area or securing valuable planning permissions. He also provides advice in the field of compulsory purchase and is an expert in the generation of planning assumptions in land compensation cases. Craig is regularly required to act as lead-consultant, heading multi-disciplinary teams, and is a highly regarded Expert Witness.
