Dan Adkins is a Senior Vice President in Avison Young’s Knoxville office. Dan has been an active entrepreneur in the Knoxville business community for 40 years. After college, Dan operated a successful regional chain of retail stores for 24 years.  Beginning in 1997, he sold most of his businesses while retaining his portfolio of commercial properties. Since then, Dan has focused on investing in, managing, and leasing retail and office/industrial properties in the Knoxville metropolitan area. In 2010, Dan got his real estate license and put his extensive market knowledge and experience, along with his strong work ethic, to work on behalf of East Tennessee. Prior to joinging Avison Young, Dan was an Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield | Cornerstone.

Dan, along with Luke Adkins, forms the Avison Young Tennessee Multi-family Team. Dan maintains daily contact with multi-family investors and brokers throughout Tennessee and the Southeast, giving him up-to-the-minute market information.
