As Principal and part of the Property Management leadership team in our Gaithersburg office, Donna Kay is responsible for overseeing and developing the property management crew, strategic planning for the division, community and industry relations, and representing our properties in local business associations. Donna has accountability for the success of Avison Young’s management portfolio and maintains direct communication with all of our management clients to ensure satisfaction with our team’s performance. In addition, Donna leads our business development efforts bringing her expertise and experience to bear when growing the property management business in this region.

Donna has more than 26 years’ experience in both property management and project management. One of her accomplishments during this time was to successfully transition the property management company to all third party management contracts. Our clients recognize her ability to provide solutions to difficult or sensitive issues. Donna and her team boast a long list of achievements, including developing, leasing and managing numerous commercial and medical properties as well as an HVAC and engineering services division.
