John is a Director within the Rating Department of Avison Young. He has sixteen years’ experience in Rating Consultancy, Commercial Valuations and Commercial Rent Reviews. He joined Avison Young in May 2012 coming from Bardon and Co, Property & Rating Consultants where he was the Principal of the company.

Clients currently serviced include ESB, Ervia, Dalata Group, Tedcastles, NORA, Nutricia Ireland, AbbVie Ireland, An Post, Dunnes Stores, Lidl Ireland GmbH, Paddy Power plc., JC Decaux, and numerous multinational retailers and private clients throughout the Republic of Ireland.

John has experience in rating consultancy on a vast variety of property including power stations, wind farms, oil terminals, department stores, shops, offices, warehouses, hotels, public houses, yards, nursing homes, leisure centres and petrol stations. John is currently advising clients in areas subject to the 2019 & 2021 Revaluations valuations.
