Jon is Head of Sustainability at Avison Young with oversight for Avison Young’s CR strategy and sustainability services. He advises investment managers, REITs and private equity companies on responsible property investment strategy, with a focus on embedding RPI strategies into existing business models to manage risk and to identify opportunities to add value.

Jon is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) gaining over 9 years’ experience at CBRE and Lothbury Investment Management, during which time he was responsible for development as well as asset and fund management for a prime balanced UK portfolio. In 2007 he qualified as a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), before making a full time move into sustainability consulting at JLL’s Upstream in 2011. Jon is a regular industry speaker on Responsible Property Investment (RPI) and contributes on related issues via the property trade press and blogs.

He is an active member of the UK-GBC, presenting at workshops, briefing seminars and bespoke training and sits on the Sustainability Committee of the British Property Federation (BPF).
