Judy Kinney is the Compliance Controller for Property Management Accounting for Avison Young’s Real Estate Management Services Group. With over 16 years of experience working closely with global real estate management and property accounting teams, Judy develops and maintains SSAE18 compliance within Service Organization Control (SOC) environments. SOC1 provides independent confirmation that Avison Young’s Real Estate Management Services platform provides the highest standard of financial reporting for clients, while mitigating risk to them and Avison Young.

Judy joins Avison Young with more than 35 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant working in the fields of finance, auditing, and accounting. A graduate of the Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, the Minneapolis native previously worked at companies such as CBRE and Canterbury Park.
