As an integral member of the Avison Young Consulting, and specialized Real Estate & Infrastructure team, Makoza Chirwa has an extensive research background and specializes in growth opportunity analysis, risks and operational efficiency, and developing complex business and financial models as they relate to scenario analysis. His expertise has informed various levels of client as well as internal decision makers, including senior management and executive team members. 

Prior to Avison Young, Makoza worked as an analyst at Cadillac Fairview in business strategy & risk as well as Colliers International in data & research. In these roles, his responsibilities included developing business performance and insights, generating market and investment reports, and gathering pertinent commercial real estate economic & market research. Makoza is proficient in consulting work, data/research management & analytics, financial Modeling and SaaS. He has an Honours Financial and Business Economics degree from York University where he was also a member of the Economics Student Association and Advanced Trading Club.
