Marie-France Poitras joined Avison Young in 2022 as translator. However, she did not find herself in uncharted territory, having worked for 12 years at Devencore until 2019, before the acquisition by Avison Young. She was then an administrative employee on the brokerage team.

Her ability with languages brought her to take a new route along the way, which meant going back to school to finally do what she likes best on a full-time basis.  

After a few years as a freelance translator, Marie-France has come back to Avison Young to assist with the francization of the internal and external documents of the company, which allows her to collaborate with coworkers of various departments from our offices across Canada and the United States.
