In 2024, Marissa joined Avison Young’s Occupier Services team, supporting Occupier clients with Avison Young’s full suite of occupier solutions. Marissa Rose most recently served as Vice President in Avison Young’s Capital Markets Group and a key member of Avison Young’s corporate finance team. She expertly guided clients through strategic decisions, focusing on sale-leaseback transactions.  Marissa was an integral team member in the successful deconversions of the Kennelly Square Condominiums and 1250 North LaSalle in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago.  Prior to joining the Capital Markets & Development team, Marissa was a member of the Retail Advisory Services Group at Avison Young. In that role, Ms. Rose and the Chicago Retail Advisory Group represented national, regional and local retailers with site selection, lease negotiations, dispositions and market analytics.

Before joining the Retail Advisory Group, Marissa served as the National Financial Analyst for Avison Young’s U.S. Capital Markets Group. Prior to joining Avison Young, she excelled as associate property manager on the Chicago Industrial team at Cushman & Wakefield.

In her spare time, Marissa sits on the Board of Directors for The Goldie Initiative, supporting the mission of advancing women across the commercial real estate industry.

Credentials

Marissa completed her MBA at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2018 where she served as President of the Kellogg Student Association and Vice President of Events for the Real Estate Club. Marissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois.

In 2024, ConnectCRE named Marissa one of their National Next Generation Award recipients. Marissa was named one of Bisnow Chicago’s Rising Stars at their 2024 Women Leading Real Estate conference. She was also the recipient of Avison Young’s 2014 Sean Faught Emerging Talent Award.
