Matt has 10 years’ planning experience since completing a Masters Degree at University College London, working in both the public and private sector in the UK. Matt joined Avison Young’s Bristol team in December 2019 and relocated into the company’s Dublin team in March 2022. 

Since joining the business, Matt has successfully managed a varied workload of planning projects for both public and private sector clients covering large-scale residential, commercial, leisure, and education uses, town centre redevelopment, Development Plan site promotion, EIA development, and appeals.

Matt is competent in providing intelligent, commercially-focused planning advice at all stages of the planning process from initial site appraisal to discharge of conditions. He has been involved in the promotion of strategic scale, masterplanned sites for inclusion in Local Development Plans and is experienced in project managing major scale planning applications.
