Nini manages the property accounting department, overseeing the delivery of accurate, timely accounting and reporting for Avison Young’s property management clients. She oversees the accounting set up of each new managed property and customizes accounting practices to fit each owner’s unique reporting requirements. She is the primary accounting liaison with property owners, property managers, banking personnel, outside auditors and accounting software/support providers.

Nini oversees the property accounting function to assure appropriate segregation of duties, maintain proper policies and procedures and assure daily service excellence in accounting for clients’ assets. Nini’s other responsibilities include financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, daily accounting operations, year-end audit/review engagements, cash management, mortgage and property tax administration, and internal auditing of budgets and operating expenses.

Nini has more than 20 years of experience in lease administration and property management accounting. Before joining Avison Young, she worked as an Accountant at Southern Comfort Air Systems, LLC and as Accounting Manager at TradeMark Properties, Inc. Nini is proficient in many accounting systems including Yardi, MRI and Viewpoint.
