Since starting at Avison Young, Sharmaine has assisted the Principals and Directors within the team on a large variety of projects including the Locking Parklands Village (1200 homes) and the Rowden Park Village (1000 homes), whilst acting as the key contact for smaller scale projects. Sharmaine has successfully led and secured planning consent for a number of varied projects including the development of a drainage swale, a minor material amendment to a residential development providing 152 dwellings and the relocation of a public artwork. She has also assisted with research projects including the Healthcare Hubs Study which informed the Strategic Health Asset Plan for the Luton Borough and Central Bedfordshire authority areas.
