Wes has over 38 years of real estate experience and is the Senior Vice President, Broker and past owner of the Manitoba Office.  Avison Young Manitoba is an affiliate office of Avison Young Canada. 

He holds diplomas in Electronic Technology and Industrial Supervision from Red River College and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Management. Wes has a Broker license and has completed all courses required for a CCIM designation. He has been a feature speaker and moderator at past Winnipeg Commercial Forums, Canadian Real Estate Association Forums and BOMA luncheons. He has extensive knowledge of construction, leases, contracts, architecture, finance, negotiation and public speaking - Wes's team has the skills necessary for today's complex real estate assignments.

Wes has previously served as Board Director, President, Past President of the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board as well as Chairman of it's Commercial Division and Commercial Council of the Canadian Real Estate Associations. Industry peers voted Wes "Commercial Realtor of the Year" for each of the years 1998 to 2001, he was awarded the WinnipegREALTORS 2008 Community Service Award and Toastmaster of the Year in 1993.

He received a national award for his 175+ blood donations through Canadian Blood Services and Community Spirit Award from Winnipeg's commercial realtors. 

His clients include REITs, Credit Unions, law firms, local developers and non-profits. He recently served as Vice-Chair and Finance Chair of Winnipeg BIZ Management board and presently serves as a Director for the Salvation Army Advisory Board.

Wes believes in giving back to the community - he is an avid volunteer and fund-raiser and a founding builder for the Realtors Shelter Foundations.

Wes is married to Christine - they have 5 children.
